Suramadu Bridge is also known as Surabaya - Madura Bridge because it’s a cable-stayed bridge between Surabaya on the island of Java and the town of Bangkalan on Madura Island. It is one of the longest bridge in Indonesia and the first bridge to cross the Madura Strait. Since it was open in 2009, there are still many tourists and locals who come to visit the bridge. It looks more fascinating at night with the colorful lamps on the bridge or you can rent a boat from Tanjung Perak Harbor to sail under the bridge.
Cheng Ho Mosque, only 10 minutes from Hotel.
This is the first Mosque in Indonesia which adopted the temple style and completed with Chinese ornament all around the place. This Mosque was built as a tribute to Cheng Ho Warlord, a Chinese Bahariwan Muslim who spread Muslim Knowledge through trading track. It is open daily for public. Muslims can do daily or Friday prayers in this Mosque.
Sunan Ampel Mosque, only 15 minutes from Hotel.
Sunan Ampel Mosque was built by one of the famous Wali Songo in Surabaya named Rahmatulloh or Sunan Ampel or Raden Rahmat. He spread Islam in Java and taught his students full with wisdom. He passed away in 1478 and buried beside his Mosque, Sunan Ampel Mosque. Many people does spiritual visit in his Mosque and amazed with the design because they are the combination of Old Java and Arab architecture.
